La Quinta Inn & Suites Secaucus Meadowlands

I rented the room and when I got it it was a smoking room the room was disgusting I asked for a different room and they gave me another one a few doors down and it was worse stains on couches and rug room smelled like vomit and cigarettes and i cant stand cigarettes bed had public hairs all over it just all around bad!! when I went to complain again all they said was sorry sir we are in the middle of renavating I couldn't stay in that room another second I rather sleep in your car in minus 30° weather so I left and couldn't get a refund bc I went thru Hotwire smh it was just a big mistake and a waste of time and money I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my enemy it was awful the worst ever in my life!!!!

Very nice room and accommodations. Conveniently located near shopping and dining. Pool was indoors and heated. Very pleasant stay. Pet friendly.

At the front desk they're completely rude have the time but there are some good ones not going to lie. When they were informed of a spill and they decided not to clean it because we were able to see it the very next day. But besides that so far so good on our week stay the service has been quite on time and well we mainly haven't been there so other than that is it how it is.

The room was spacious, and the bed was comfy. The breakfast consisted of carbs, so we ate elsewhere. Other than that. I had no significant complaints.

We were a group of 5 people, spent 4 nights here, in two suites. To state the obvious, it is worn, stained and in great need of the upcoming remodel....the only reasons I cannot give it a 5 star review.
The location was perfect for our New York City vacation. The NJ Transit, which stops directly across the street, made our daily trips to the city painless. Our room was clean, and we found it to be in good working order. We asked for non-smoking, and that is what we got. Our air conditioner worked great. Our mini fridge and microwave were clean and worked fine. The beds were very comfortable. I loved the suite layout. The breakfast was wonderful, and varied from day to day.
Our experiences with Ken and Eileen at the front desk were beyond expectations. They were kind, courteous, and so helpful. Eileen booked our double-decker bus tour for us, and it picked us up at the hotel. They gave us directions, recommendations and personal greetings every day. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
