I ordered garlic and oil fettuccine. Seven bucks. Yaaaas.
I got it with fettuccini (you get your pick of noodles at no extra charge). Excellent noodles, well-cooked, not too limp and not too firm. Great sauce, savory but not excessively heavy, more weighty than pure olive oil and lighter than Alfredo.
The serving is pretty large. It's dinner-sized, and as my first meal of the day it filled me up at 3 p.m.
It also came with a hunk of plain bread (no garlic or oil), which was great as a base for the noodles. They don't advertise the bread as being included so it was a nice surprise.
They are curt with their service but I wouldn't call it rude. They post "no outside food or drink" on their entrance but didn't raise any heckles when I drank from my water bottle. (Maybe because it was Ohio State-branded? The world is a strange place.)
The guys who run it are Hispanic but they do a better job with their food than the other cheap Italian places I've been to in the city.
