Great values, mediocre food.
I ordered an omelette platter, which included toast and hashbrowns. The omelette was small and dry. The toast was dry and crusty. The hashbrowns were quite small, and exceptionally dry. Everything was cooked too long and without enough oil.
Price ($8.75) is low for the serving size.
The guy who helped me was real attentive and helped me get exactly what I wanted.
They've got a decent amount of seating toward the back.
They donate extensively to local schools, as you can see from their posted letters in the back.

If you're looking for an amazing bagel in New York, stop what you're doing and go here. I've tried all of the top-rated bagel shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and I love La Bagel. They have the most creative and delicious breakfast and lunch sandwhiches based on a bagel foundation among all of the other homemade pastries.
But what makes La Bagel so unique is the guys behind the counter. They are super cool and you can see how they want to give their customers the best Brooklyn service.
Do not miss this gem!

Very busy bagel place. You know everything is very fresh. I love the bagels here. There is a large assortment of cream cheeses, salad - tuna, egg, and more, deli meats. The bakery items taste homemade. Everything was delicious. Prices are not cheap but they are not out of sight. Service is very friendly.
