Such a cute local place! Everyone comes in here locals and tourist. Fits about 30-40 people and on the weekend sometimes there is a wait but usually you can get seated right away. Food is quick to come out but everything on the menu is delicious. Definite must go.

This is the "pure" NYC diner experience. An interior that looks a little worn and, well, grimy. Combined with a kitchen that can turn out basic American staples in absolutely no-time flat, and a set of stools at the bar/kitchen and a few small tables around.
But the food is absolutely delicious. Especially, I must say, the chocolate-chip pancakes. They're my go-to item in this Village hot spot.
And yes, I say "hot spot". If you come on a weekend around brunch time, be prepared to wait.

Try the avocado omelette with sausages, corn beef hash, home fries and banana pancakes and a strawberry milkshake to top it off, You will not go wrong. Fast service , great staff, and food is excellent. Best diner in the west village by far maybe top 5 in all NYC.
