Best place NYC for conventional Czech-Slovak cuisine. Where tradition and consistency are key, Koliba always exceeds expectations from food to beer to atmosphere. This place will always have my service.

It tastes like old fashioned home cooked food...only way better. Service always attentive. Wish there was one in western new jersey. Always look forward to coming here. NEVER disappointed.

The best Czech and Slovak restaurant not only in NYC but in the USA.
Great place, friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
The food is very good and portions are large.
One of the Slovak specialty: Potato spaetzle with sheep cheese-bacon (Bryndzove Halusky).
Also dumplings with other dishes.
And of course The BEER.....Try to mix Krusovice (light) and Brouczech (dark).
Highly Recommended!!!

Absolutely great place. When you step inside, it is like stepping back to the old country. Food is fresh, authentic and worth the wait! It's a little pricey and the hours are funny... but definitely worth it. BTW, AWESOME BEER!!!
