Kings Laundry

This is the second time I came here and the attendant this time is the worse. I asked her to empty 3 dryers and she just walk to it and walk away a without saying anything. I was in a hurry and I had to do it. Then the clothes owner came and asked for her staff. Atender just start given me all the credit, (oh he did it and I have nothing to do with it). I apologize with the lady but the attendant was talking a lot of garbage. She definitely needs to learn some costumers service.

This is my first time using this service and I honestly don't know if I will use them again...

I placed an a pickup order online yesterday. The driver picked up my clothes around 4:30 & told me that I could expect my laundry to be returned to me tomorrow around the same time.

After waiting approximately two hours past the "24 hour turnaround guarantee", I called to check on my clothes. The customer service rep (alex, the only bright spot in al of this) said either he or a driver would let call me with an update shortly. A driver calls and lets me know that there was some kind of problem that had backed up all orders. I have a problem with not receiving a call once they knew this was the case...

Not only did i NOT receive a call regarding the delay, I never even received a call informing me of the price of my laundry. Its been almost 4 hours as of this post and I STILL don't know the price of my clothes...I have several events to attend tonight and I know i will be paying a $15 cover charge that I wouldn't have had to pay if I received my clothes when I should have...after all the event was free until 10pm...but now i have to wait until at least 9:30 to receive my clothes...

Since this is my 1st time using this service AND there is a 24 hour guarantee, I asked for a discount on my order (which i still don't know the price of after asking several times) and I was told (after receiving a no from the Alex's superior, and having alex then ask someone at the store) that the best that could be done was a $5 dollar discount...

A $5 discount after not calling me at all to confirm pricing or to inform me of any delay in delivery & having me wait for over 4 hours for my clothes? This is NOT ACCEPTABLE. My time has not been respected. Kings Laundromats have not honored THEIR OWN 24 HOUR GUARANTEE , and they have not offered me anything that I would consider fair compensation...

Bad 1st impression is an understatement!!!

**update** The store manager Charlie just called me and said he would drop my clothes and make sure that I get to my event before I would have to pay a cover charge! This would go a long way towards resolving any ill will that I have regarding the company. If this happens the way Charlie & I discussed over the phone, I will revise my rating to a more favorable one...I'm glad at least two people over there care about their clients!

**2nd UPDATE**
The Manager was as good as his word!!!!!! He went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to make my event without paying the cover charge! I'm truly convinced that they care about their customers!!! I will be using them again!!!
