Found the perfect traditional Kimono, made from 100% cotton - to fit modern wear. She just had a shipment in from Kyoto, great patterns in all sizes. She was super helpful - she even has replacement sashes and a seamstress who can repair torn kimonos of any kind. Great experience, so happy with the Kimono we found - I've never seen anything like it, just perfect!
Worth it to get off your bum - and go take a peek! You can't find this quality online - you have to touch and see for yourself.

I've gone to them years ago and I still remember the kindness and time they took with me. I might even go back soon for another Yukata.

Both Yumiko and Ken both helped my friend and I with picking out our yukatas and was very patient even though there even if the place was tiny. They were multitasking helping two other customers as well along with others and still was able to give great service to each of us. All of the kimonos, obis and accessories they had in stock were very nice and great quality. The prices range from $70+ and definitely worth the money spent on anything bought over there. Most kimonos vary in prices but 50+ for any real non mass-produced yukata is the right price range. They made our time there and at the sakura festival very fun. Thanks, Yumiko and Ken. :)

My experience was very good. I was looking for a gift without much knowledge. I didn't know what to expect. The service was amazing. They spent a lot of time helping me make the best decisions. They gave me lessons on how to wear the Kimono as well as the common use for different designs. I felt extremely comfortable, and I don't normally feel this way about customer service. I'm very thankful.

I already had a full yukata set that I bought when I was in Japan. However, I wanted my boyfriend to have one too so that we could match. Everything in the store is from Japan, so the quality matched the one I had. They have a good selection for men (most stores only carry kimono for women), the prices are what they should be. The kimono were about $85, the geta shoes $50, and they even had hakama pants (although I don't know the price). So yeah, it's a bit much, but it's what you should be paying considering the quality.
What really sold this place for me was the service! It's a small store that can seem crowded very quickly, but the people treat every person as if they are the only people in the store. They are constantly pulling out more options for you until you fall in love.
Will definitely go to in the future :D
