@ Catherine Gordon - your perceived location snobbery, ("its not in Manhattan, its in Harlem!" Slow clap for that one) seems just a touch out of place when you're actually discussing shopping at a goodwill store. Congrats on making back over the high mountain pass before winter came down on us and it would have become unpassable til the spring thaw. We would have been stuck with you up here for months, and thats potentially the real tragedy here...

Do not be fooled! This is not a Goodwill in Manhattan, it's in Harlem! The racks are very empty and the items are in bad shape. The best part of the store is the personnel working. They were nice and extremely helpful in providing directions back to midtown.

I'm a big fan of thrifting. If you want to create funky outfits or find some good vintage goods, stop in this Goodwill. There is always some good finds and in a variety of sizes. Every now and there were are specials on the weekends so be sure to shop on Saturdays and Sundays.
