Kawaii Sushi

[All-You-Can-Eat] The food use to be great, and service was tolerable. However, after tonight's dinner, where 1) my food came to me cold (e.g. miso soup, udon); 2) ordered smoked salmon, and instead got 3 pieces of lox and a whole gallop of rice. Obviously could not finish the large amount of rice, and got charged $15. I would have been fine being charged $3 for the rice, since it was a lot of rice (which they felt like giving me, and did not give as much to the other customers...), but $15 was NOT equivalent to the rice. The chefs and waitress were both incompetent, especially the waitress who admitted she had no knowledge of the rolls, and that her only duty was to "bring the plates to the customers." Very disappointed, because I truly enjoyed this place two months ago.

I ordered from this place before and enjoyed their food and customer service.I order today and they asked where I lived I gladly gave them my address.They decided to ask the a guy in which I thought was management he asked me the same question and gave it to him and also stated that I ordered there so many times before.He said how far? and I said about 5 minutes he said its ten minutes and hung up on me.I called back and the woman answered the phone and I told her the situation and she said It isn't his fault if he doesn't want to go there (to my address). They gave power to their delivery man stating that 10 minutes was to far for him I didn't know it was the delivery man unless I called back.
Such good food but wasn't professional in my eyes.

I did not like anything about this place except for the decor. I have libed in Howard beach for many years and have ordered take out from Kawai on many occasions. Mmmm where should I begin first the derlivery always taks an hour or more snd I am only 3 blocks away. Secondly I walked in today to otdrr donburi the menu states tuna,salmon or yellowtail 12 pcs or mixed So I asked the very unprofessional girl that asked me rudely "WHAT DO YOU WANT"...excuse me I said I would like the Donburi said... But mixed she said no only one kind of fish. I reminded her that yhe menu in pront read "mixed" they tried to charge me $4.00 more for mixed. i said thanks but no thanks the menue states mixed the girl then but her arms in the sir snd brlts out an.. "aHH" do I left No more Kawai uor me hello Sakura on Cross bay much better Sushi and service!!!

Received my food 2 hours late after being informed it had been delivered to the wrong address and having my card signed for by an unknown person. But when it did arrive the food was awesome

The price is good, and their food is average. But their service needs some major improvements. The waitress/hostess/cashier was very rude and was constantly answering the phone as I was trying to place an order for take-out. Moreover, the food took forever to come out. I was repeatedly told 5-10 minutes over and over again. Would not recommend and will not return.
