Johnny's Pizzeria

Love the pizza here. I wish I lived closer because I would go here more often. It's a small, cash only, hole in the wall type place. If you go on a weekend night you will probably have to wait a bit, but it's worth it!

The pizza is the best! My favorite place to go!

"This is the best pizza hands down". I live in Hawthorne and was introduced to Johnny's Pizza at a very young age by my family that owns a business in Mt. Vernon for over 30 years. I've been to every so call pizza spot in The Tri-State area there really is nothing better it's depressing. My relatives from Italy say it's better than some places back home but there other places in Italy that are better. I don't understand how that can be possible it's that addictive, so good that I can't imagine something else that my taste buds can handle from pizza.

They are very nice people. To all those that say they are rude because they know there pizza is the best, NOT TRUE. You try running that mad house with all those orders when it gets busy and make sure the pizza comes out perfect every time. My suggestion is if you are looking to feed your cravings and/or addiction of Johnny's try getting there during the day like on a Tuesday or Wednesday with a small party each get a pie, eat and get out or put your order in way in advance so when you get there it's ready to go just be on time. Because you also want it hot and it will just becoming out of the oven, TRUST ME they don't play around with that. It's all apart of the Johnny's experience.

The pizza is amazing but the customer service is horrible. The lady on the phone who takes the order is incredibly rude. Because they are so well know, they think they can treat people in any manner that they want...However the pizza is great! If you can get past the bad attitudes.

This is hands down, the best pizza I've ever had. My Dad grew up in Mount Vernon and once in a while, I drive from Long Island (appx. 45 minutes away), with EZ-Pass in hand, just to get a pie from here.
