We used to take the subway to this pool during the mid 60's from the Bronx. I remember this pool always being colder than any other swimming pool we'd go to, but it was still fun.

For a completely FREE swimming pool in Manhattan, it's PRETTY AWESOME for adult swimming in the evenings. Bring own lock and must lock purses and other personal items in lockers. No personal belongings allowed in swimming area except towel. Decently clean.
