I was a patient of doctor Joel Abramowitz M.D
located at 142 palisade ave. jersey city, he treated me for 6 months with no positive result ! The doctor took my blood 6 times every time I visit him, for an alleged “biopsy”
But the lab informed me over the phone that they never received my blood from this doctor, also the medicine that he prescribed me was getting me worst. Other patients told me while I was waiting at the clinic one time they told me that they were bleeding for 4 weeks from the rectum and the urinary system. My impression that I received from this doctor is that he is indolent without any medical vocation!! and therefore is not reliable! PLEASE BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, HE JUST CARES ABOUT THE MONEY NOT YOUR HEALTH!!! HES ACTS LIKE FREAKING RETARD !! HONESTLY I DONT KNOW HOW HE BECAME A DOCTOR !! HE SHOULD BE BANNED!!

Avoid at all costs. I never write reviews, but this one has to be done for pubic service.

I was under the impression that all physicians have to take the Hippocratic Oath but experiencing Dr. Joel Abramowitz was a rude awakening. Do not trust what he tells you.

Expect really poor ethical standards here. I accompanied a patient to his office for an emergency. He clearly knew that the patient needed a Foley catheter immediately but gave just oral medication, charged over $300 for the visit and let us go.

Within 5 hours of seeing this doctor, we had to go to the hospital emergency and pay for an emergency visit to get Foley catheter. It's not about the money - what is truly disappointing is how Dr. Joel Abramowitz was willing to risk the patients health in case of an emergency.

No wonder he is rated poorly on all websites - should be shut down.
