I have had nothing but good expriences with this doctor. In fact when I had a semi-emergency on a monday morning she fit me in within a half hour of my call. Yes she has a big personality. So what? I like her.

I was highly recommended to Dr. Joannow by a friend and I must say I was beyond disgusted and disappointed by her unprofessional behavior. Dr. Joannow was pleasant during my initial visit and that is what leads me to believe she has multiple personality disorder! She requested I take serious exams regarding an issue and upon contacting her office to follow up for my results she rushed me off the phone, didn't take time to explain ANYTHING and hung up on me without even saying goodbye! This happened TWICE due to the fact I had two exams taken and I needed my results. She is rude, obnoxious, arrogant and should be ashamed of the way she treats her patients! I wouldn't allow her to treat me if she were the last "doctor" on the planet!

This is one of the most unprofessional Doctors I have ever encountered!! I would absolutely NOT recommend this Doctor. The office is old and needs renovations and the Doctor herself is extremely unpleasant.

so since i came to US i never went to a doc again so i decided to go for a check up on nov ..and my ins company have deductabls for the 1st yr but if you do just a check up they cover it 100% of that visit ..so i go for a check up with DR Melanie and they fight me on how my company is not going to pay them so i had to pay $100 upfront im like oki but if they do I want my money back and they r like oki ..so my Dr is soo smart doesnt want to give a refund so when shes checkin me shes askin alllllll this questions for me to complain bout somethin that i might feel sick just so she can change the visit from check up to being sick this way she keeps the $100 ...so i did mention being constipated but only because she kept asking not cus i needed her help with it ...so then i had to have my ins company and myself call Dr melanie to change the visit to check up because thats the only reason i went there and shes fighin me on it ..im like hellooo i know why i schedueld and shes like yea but you changed it u said ur constipated im like i said it cus u asked not cus i was comin to check with u on it ..sooo finally she gets mad shes like fine ill change it and refund u the money n just hangs up the phone on me ...akward experience.. I was planning to keep her as my doc cus she did seem nice when i met her but she changed my mind
