Look through any collection of photos of this place and you already know what you're in for. If you're looking for cheap beer served in large quantities and a place that doesn't take itself too seriously, this may be the spot for you.

Hands-down the trashiest bar I've ever been to in my life. It gets two stars for having the cheapest drinks in the area, which makes total sense. It looks like a mix between a soup-kitchen cafeteria and an old folk's home recreational lounge. There are literally used bras hanging around the entire bar, and signatures all over the ceiling tiles (which are of the boring white-cork office variety). I would say check it out just so you know what it's like, but I doubt you'll want to come back here.

Great staff and the best atmosphere to watch a game. It's a dive.

Jeremy's Ale House is the quintessential NYC dive bar with one very unique article of decor that has become the trademark of the place. That item is women's brasiers. Yes, you read that correctly. There are bras hung up throughout the establishment. Many signed by the female that dared to donate the item.

As with most dive bars, this place gets loud, crass and plays good music. They also offer a passable burger and fries lunch special for those interested in eating something while drinking.

One redeeming feature of this place is that it became the go to destination for first responders that worked in downtown Manhattan both after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and after Super Storm Sandy devastated the Seaport. Throughout the establishment you will discover patches, plaques and letters of appreciation from law enforcement and first responder services near and far.
