We ordered a couch and a chair in January 2015. We were told that it would be 6-8 weeks until we got the furniture as the chair was special-order. Additionally, because we have small doorways we let the salesperson know the measurements and he assured us that the pieces could come "knocked down".
After 8+ weeks, we finally called Jennifer ourselves to ask what happened to our furniture. Turns out that they oversold the style of couch, so our chair was sitting in a warehouse waiting for a couch. We were told at that point it would be another 4-6 weeks.
About 5 and a half months after the initial purchase, we were told we will get a delivery. All scheduled and we were happy; it was finally done. Furniture arrived completely constructed, NOT "knocked down". They had to take it back.
We are now told that because the order did not originally state "Knock Down" that we will have to pay to have it done.
The entire time we have talked to Jennifer, they have been unwilling to even meet us halfway. We were told that "Corporate" would not approve waiving the fee associated with the "Knock Down" because it wasn't on the original invoice. They have been unsympathetic that they have taken our payment for the couch and chair in January and we still do not have our furniture. Do not purchase from Jennifer Furniture. Ever.
