Amazing pedicure... Friendly staff and calming environment

We went on the first beautiful spring day of 2015 so of course they were jam-packed with walk-ins (Emergency Sandal Pedicure Stat!).The three of us (two women and one man) had an appointment for a mani pedi that I had made the day before. They got their first star when they were able to accommodate 3 appointments on short notice and when the woman on the phone told me that there would be no extra charge for the man in our party (a practice that I deplore and that has become all too common in nail salons). They got their second star when we saw the place. Beautiful. Spotless. The owner obviously cares about the business a whole hell of a lot because even the tiniest details showed care and consideration (notice the light switch covers and the pattern in the drop ceiling tiles). The staff was friendly and apologetic when they could not sit all three of us together. Every chair was full when we arrived so we waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Once in the chair, the same woman completed my mani and pedi. Her name was Ruth and I knew I was dealing with a thorough and thoughtful manicurist when she kept going back for her cuticle cutters throughout the manicure to trim even the tiniest bit of imperfection. The manicure lasted at least a half hour and included cut, file, buff, cuticle trimming and oiling, a soak with lemon slices and nail conditioner, exfoliating with a salt scrub, moisturizing with real aloe leaves and lotion, hot towels, three coats of polish and a coat of sealant - star number 3. The pedicure was hands down the best pedicure of my life. It lasted about an hour and included a HOT STONE MASSAGE in their basic, very reasonably priced service. It also included a cut, file, buff, cuticle care, a soak with either eucalyptus or lemon, a SERIOUS callous removal WITHOUT the use of blades, a luxurious salt rub, at least ten minutes of massage with hot stones (I was in heaven so I may have lost count of the minutes), hot towels, moisturizing with actual honey and lotion, two coats of polish and sealant. They even offered me a cup of tea. I couldn't believe it. The pedicure by itself was worth 2 stars. When we paid (the price was $42 for a mani and pedi, how could this be?!), they handed us three $10 dollar off coupons because their services weren't "perfect" (what?!). If I could give them another star I would. All three of us were impressed. I took a menu of their services (they have the most reasonable prices I've ever seen for spa services) and I will be back.

I adore this place, Jen and Suzy and all the girls are extremely friendly. I have been going there religiously for over 2 years and would not go anywhere else. The service is excellent, noone offers the pedicures they do. Noone compares. Although you will wait if you have no appointment as they are very busy, but if you do make one than you are all good. Like I said I would not risk my beautiful nails (thanks Jen) and pedicures to anyone else but them
