JC Taekwondo and Kickboxing Academy

We sent our son there for two of years, good experience at first than he no longer wanted to go, we cancelled our membership yet they continued to charge my credit card, we contacted them and they still continued, disputed charges for 5 months , every month refunded, yet they continued to charge our card, had to get credit card company to block them from continuing and again six months later today I see another charge. I wonder how many parents they have done this to! Very annoying and for an establishment that stresses honor and respect sure not following it from a financial standpoint, beware of your credit card!

A great workout with wonderful instructors. What distinguishes JC TKD from other local gyms is the family atmosphere. Both my wife and I have developed close relationships with other cardio kickboxers. The instructors are passionate in providing challenging workouts and pushing the members to do their best. It's a sweaty, enjoyable experience.

JC Taekwondo is my home away from home. After moving to the NYC area from North Florida, I went to a number of dojos. I went to fancy franchises and independent small schools but didn't find a fit for my training schedule and personality. I thought I was suffering culture shock having moved from a small town in the south. Then I walked into JC Taekwondo and found my Jersey City family. The master instructors and entire club were welcoming and supportive from day one.

We train hard, play hard, take care of each other, and push each other to be our best in literally everything we do. I'm a better employee, friend, and partner because of the work we put in at JC Taekwondo.

Master Claudio gets to know his students and their needs. He works not only with your fitness level and goals, but also your personality, work schedule, and life-style. His leadership is to care about getting and giving your best in everything. I'm proud to say I train under Masters and Instructors at JC TKD.

My 8-year old daughter Nyasha started at JC Taekwondo early September and have since then not stopped talking about the team, the instructors and how much fun it is. Everybody are incredible nice yet commands respect. My only negative comment would be "why didn't we start earlier?". Plan on joining myself - seems like the best work-out possible.

Our daughter Molly has been at the Academy for just over 2 years now and we have been VERY impressed with the instruction and the care that they take to help her progress.

Now she is a little older she helps teach one of the classes and there are other options for her to improve her strength and endurance.

The instructors are excellent and Viviana keeps the front of the house under control.
