On Tuesday Sept. 23rd, 2014, I,along with my surgeon Dr. Jason Shaw, MD (and his team) underwent VATS procedure. I had the top of my right lung removed. On Thursday Sept. 25th, 2014, I was discharged. My experience was awesome! I was out of bed the same night, I walked as much as I could (and I did), it made my breathing much easier and helped produce mucus. I would like to thank Dr. Shaw and his team for making my experience one I would never forget.
