Visted here in Jun 2006 during my biz trip to NYC. This place was such an Oasis with good ppl. Jan showed me his working space in the basement of the shop and I sae there were some big scratch buiding ships and I saw today it's 'of course' nicely done by him. Jan, hope you and your mom is fine. I'll visit there whenever i go to NYC again. You're still doing amazing and meaningful job, no CGs can be replaced to your great works as you did long time ago. Miss this place, people and smell of assembly kits.

The older woman who works there made it a point to walk out onto the floor and follow me around while i shopped. Very off putting. It wasn't something she did in an effort to assist me but rather to keep an eye on what I was up to for the three minutes I managed to stay in there before i got the hell out. Coming back the next week and dealing with the guy who works there was a much better experience.

Colette, the "old woman" some of the commentators have referred to, is an extremely pleasant and knowledgeable person. Anyone looking for anything model related should look no further than this store, which is the best in the city by a mile.

Very nice clean place unlike the others i have been in to. The lady who work there very nice and welcoming, she waited for me to come after a phone conversation and left the store open only for me. Great verity of models, Acrylic and oil base paint by MODEL MASTER and TAMIYA. Very nice store.
