Good food, better cocktails - especially given that a lot of the ingredients (syrups, etc.) are made in house. The move here seems to be to drop in for a late night drink and snacks, rather than go for the whole (a bit too pricey) menu. The eggplant fries are delicious.

My favorite brunch spot in Prospect Heights. I have been here so many times. I love their kale salad, and all the other offerings. Menu changes seasonally. Burger happy hour is also very worthwhile.

We were a party of four, the wait was almost an hour. We were told 20 mintues when we walked in and they kept telling us five mintues more every five minutes so we would not leave I guess.
I had a very water downed bloody marry while waiting, I would not recommend that at all. Finally they sat us down and brought us the food we already ordered while standing at the bar. By then it was 3 pm, they finish lunch/brunch at 3:30 so I belive they wanted us in and out quickly.
I had the angus burger, the meat was average, The French friez was way under cooked. Shame really to serve it in such condition, as it looked promising. The servers were busy wrapping up the shift, it was challenging getting their attention for a glass of water!
I assumed that since we waited patiently for around an hour they would wave the drinks we had while waiting to be seated but unfortunately they even made us pay for the cup of coffee that one of us orderd.
Not sure I will come back, not impressed!
