Jake's

Jake's is, by far, the best barbecue in Brooklyn. The restaurant has a very small dining area so you may find it full if you go there to eat. However, if you are fortunate enough to live within their delivery area your problems are solved. They have a large number of take out orders and even larger number of delivery orders.

Their barbecue is incredible. I was born and raised in Texas, lived for years in Georgia and the Carolinas, and have worked in Kentucky... I know good barbecue; it has been a staple in my diet my entire life. I order from Jake's because it is authentic barbecue and it is delicious. The baby back ribs are amazing... the prime beef short ribs are amazing... the pulled pork is amazing... the barbecue chicken is amazing... are you beginning to notice a pattern? Every barbecue item is delicious.

I can only speak to the quality of the barbecue. I have never ordered an item from the menu that was not part of a barbecue dinner. The bread is another wonderful item at Jake's. Personally, I love their cornbread, and their biscuits are made fresh each day.

Jake's is amazing and, in my opinion, the only authentic barbecue in Brooklyn.

I was looking for a good bbq spot in BK and i did a google search and came across jacks went there and me and my mother ordered a few things and all of it was good... I ordered the Brisket meal with corn nuggets and mash as sides then hickory n honey bbq wings with corn bread.... The regular bbq sauce that come with the brisket which i got on the side i didnt care for much but im not a big sauce fan but the brisket was great along with everything else my mother got the brisket sliders, with cheese broccoli and the regular bbq wings she liked it all.... So all i can say its a good place and i will be going back for sure you should try it out for yourself....

Not only did Jake's deliver to my neighborhood which is a decent distance but they delivered earlier than projected eta and the delivery person was super nice! But more importantly the food is AMAZING! I am a serious cook so I know what I am talking about - the Pulled chicken and brisket was to die for. Steamed broccoli was cooked perfectly and cleanly! I will be ordering from here again and again!
I can't wait to turn friends on to them.

*French fries are good
*Fried shrimp is eatable but doesn't look good it looks burnt and packed with obay seasoning & only a few shrimps, I prefer bbqs you get more for your money
*Side order of macaroni salad is as small as a side of ketchup I AINT ON NO DIET IM HUNGRY I WANT TO EAT NOW I GOTTA EAT SOME BREAD FROM HOME TO GO WITH MY MEAL BECAUSE THIS WAS NOT FULFILLING.
*Burgers are burgers whoopty whoo

Hello everybody just would like to for warn you about this place of garbage. The food was tasteless, overcooked, old, cold, and burnt. I was staying at a hotel overnight in Brooklyn so I decided to order delivery. I chose their menu from the front desk because it looked tasty. But low and behold it was the worst food I have ever encountered in my life. You would think food this bad would be cheap as dirt or given away, not the outrageous prices that they are charging. They were good about taking my order back and sending more, but the second batch was worse then the first. I wouldn't feed this crap to my dogs.
