Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

This was my first tax filing so I decided to use a consultant and make sure I get it right. I went to the Jackson Hewitt branch at Journal Square Path station. I have the standard live in NJ, work in NY filing. After charging me the moon for filing state taxes - they didn't even file a schedule A (which apparently is a obvious thing) and NJ sent me a notice of underpayment. I discovered that in the pile of junk that they dumped on me saying these are your copies, they didn't include copies of the state filings. When I tried to go back to them, they had shut shop and run away with a number stuck to the door that no one answers if you call. I doubt these people know even their ABCs let alone how to prepare taxes. Needless to say will never go back to them again.
