Avoid this dealership!

Years ago I had an unpleasant experience with poor sales team and management when this was the Audi dealership. In spite of this I gave them another chance while shopping for a new Kia with my mother.

Everything was going well salesman Brandon was a nice guy we agreed to terms and left happy with thoughts of picking up the car at the end of the week.

It all went downhill from there. "Finance Manager" Marco called my mother to let her know everything was good and the car will be ready for pickup. She actually received a few calls confirming the car was ready.

We went in to pick up the car and they greeted us with coffee, had us switch insurance, and then see Marco.

Marco casually tells us after sitting for an hour that the payments are now $100 more than agreed upon because credit was not tier 1. Now I understand credit policies can affect payments but do not waste our time leave us waiting in hopes we'll just say "ok fine". This bait and switch is an unacceptable practice and I advise anyone shopping for a car to seek out a more honest dealership.

Their (Kia) Service Department is UNheard of! Never have I experienced anything like this. For starters I should have NEVER accepted the new Sorento handed to me with a ding on the door. Reassured it would be taken care of ASAP and at no cost. Well guess what!? It is costing me! It's now costed me a second day having to call out of work and not getting paid for (now, two days) all for their mistake and tardiness. Last Tuesday I brought the car in for my 1:30PM appointment which I was then told the mechanic had already left for the day and is only here first thing in the morning. So off the bat either the dealership or service department had given me the wrong time. Today 2/2/15, I bring my car in for the second time at 7:30AM, their FIRST APPOINTMENT. Happy bc I was told it would take only minutes and I would still be able to make it to work. Well...8:30 rolls around and one of the service employees approaches me asking if he can take me home bc the "mechanic is not in the facility, is running late, working on another car at another facility down the street." I asked how long it would be and he says "I don't know, he's running late, something about the weather"...THE WEATHER!?!????? It's a mild morning and Crystal clear outside. I can NOT get over this BS of a company! UNREAL! So now I wait for a ride (bc I refuse to let them drive me home and do anymore for me) and having to call out of work for their mistakes! I'm severely regretting my decision of leasing a Kia Sorento and not going with what would've have been my third Ford Edge. I NEVER dealt with anything like this with any car I had to have serviced.

Update: It's 11:15 and I have yet to hear my car is ready. 7:30Am- First appointment- means NOTHING

Second Update: I called the service department at 11:45 bc I had yet to hear ANYTHING. I was lied to by their front desk employee that "they are still working on it and we will keep you updated". I then asked her if they even took it in, she said "yes". Having a feeling I was being lied to I get dropped off and guess what!? My car was never taken in until I got here.

The worst experience my family has ever had with a dealership. My mother returned her leased 2012 Kia Optima EX with Premium package and decided she wanted to upgrade her current Optima to the SX model. She was promised the same options as her current Optima with a better motor and they agreed on a price and signed the contract. Upon delivery, she realized that the new car was missing all the options that came with her previous car.

The dealership neglected to add the Premium package. When she objected, the dealership refused to take responsibility and instead offered to charge an additional 30 dollars a month to add a rearview camera... They said it was too late as we signed the contract and now we're stuck with a car that we don't want.

This was my first car buying/leasing experience and it was an unpleasant day. The salesman was negative from the start. Told me my trade in was worthless when in fact it had a trade in value of $2500! I knew this before I went there. But the salesman fought me at every turn, got several details of the lease wrong, and really was not paying attention to our vehicle needs. Extremely unprofessional person. After 2 hours of haggling we finally settled on a price but I knew that wasn't the end of the deal. When it came to the finance dept., that's when the game really started. My credit is fair, high 600s, but the finance manager says its poor and has to tack on an additional $20 per month to the lease. We had been there 3 and half hours already and were worn out. So I agreed to it. Then this lowlife says while looking at his computer screen, Oh there was a mistake, its actually going to cost me an additional $41 per month. By then it had been almost 5 hours and I was disgusted at the whole afternoon. I should have known something was wrong when I only saw one other potential car buyer in the showroom on a Saturday afternoon! Don't go to these people. Their main concern is not customer satisfaction, but the bottom line and squeezing every possible dollar out of you. Save yourself the headache.
