The lamb shish kebab I had was amazing, along with the small bowl of yellow rice it came with. The vegetarian platter we had for our appetizer that was predominantly eggplant-based pleasantly surprised my usually non-vegetarian tastebuds—it was one of the best vegetable dishes I had in recent memory.
Our server was friendly too and cracked jokes with us, making our dining experience a fun one.

A few years back, when the restaurant first opened, it was nothing short of amazing. Delicious fresh salads, delicious Kebab dishes, and freshly made Baklava which was moist and chewy on the bottom and fresh and crispy on the top.
I'm sorry to say the same does not hold true today. My last 3 experiences have been extremely disappointing. Today I ordered a simple Sheppard salad, and for the third time in so many months the salad consisted of pasty tasteless tomato's, soft cucumber, uninspired dressing, and stale bread. When ordering a salad, the chef must cut the vegetables to order. Not cut up days worth and throw them in the cooler believing no one will be able to tell the difference.
After asking the waiter to take away my salad, I asked him if the the Baklava was made fresh that day. Yeah....supid question, right? I took one bite from my first piece and had to spit it out into my plate it was that bad. The bottom was hard has a rock, and was clearly days old being stored in the cooler.
In closing I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone for anything! Not even a quick salad lunch, which is obviously beyond the skill level of their chef to be done correctly. And if management believes they can stay in business serving up this kind of slop in this neighborhood, they're wrong. It's only a matter of time before they close.

Usually order through seamless. They have great hummus and pita bread! However, for meat dishes they barely give you any meat.

Very friendly and nice place. The appetizers are delicious and not too pricey. We will definitely come back

Authentic Turkish food restaurant that can easily become one of the hottest spot in New York if they will only pay more attention to details. I mean I understand that this is a part of the theme of the restaurant, but with such a great food, its a shame that the small things makes the difference between perfect and just a place that offer pretty dam good food.
