So I moved to this neighborhood about couple months ago. My skin breaks out a lot specially during summer, so I am used to getting regular facials etc. Plus, in general i like taking care of myself. My first two experiences with two pricey facials here were so-so. I usually go every three-four weeks for a good facial. I wanted to give this place a fair chance, and tried their massage service too. But what really irked me was the last time i went to get mani-pedi combo, they wouldnt even switch on the electronic chair back massage (it was on for a customer next to me - she was probably getting a pricier pedi). I had kept 1.5 hours free for mani-pedi and facial waxing, but they wanted to finish everything so fast that I was completely flabbergasted. And remember I've already spent over $300 at this place over past few weeks - which is a decent amount given the neighborhood. I couldn't even dry my nails because they wanted to finish my waxing as soon as mani-pedi was done. When i was leaving i asked if i could take their cheap sandals so i can walk back home without the polish getting destroyed with my shoes, and they asked for a $3 deposit. I repeat - A $3 deposit for a pair of flimsy white sandals. The owners son was at the desk (Asian dude) and was extremely rude. Bad attitude, bad customer service and mediocre spa service.
Guys seriously, if you want to be in business, DONT BE SO CHEAP. I am never going back again. The mediocre mani-pedi technician can keep her $8 tip. She's going to find it hard to find customers in this neighborhood paying that amount for her mediocre talent and terrible attitude.
As for potential customers - there are far too many spas around to chose from. Dont waste your money here.
