Imperial Court Hotel

It was alright, good location... under renovation at the time (Jan/Feb '12)... Nice N.Y.C. experience :-) 3half*

The room was quite small and I didn't notice any special effort taken towards cleaning. The noise level was quite high and I couldn't rest properly. However, the location of this hotel is good.

Great Location, good prices, ok rooms and bad customer service. The front desk is terrible. And when you complain with the manager, it is worse.

Good location. Imagine you go to Zabar's, which locates between 80th and 81st street on Broadway, 2 blocks away from the hotel. You may be so fascinated to the wide variety of cheese and other stuff. In my case, cheese, coffee and Jewish snacks. Or Cittarella at 75th street on Broadway if you prefer pork. Then you end up buying huge amount of stuff. You may be relieved of this hotel is your hotel. Otherwise you are going to curse a day away. The hotel does not seem like imperial nor court, but housekeepers are very friendly and front guys are generally nice.

Great Hotel!! I was visiting NYC from San Francisco for a wedding that I was attending with my wife and we stayed at the Imperial Court Hotel. We thought it was a lovely, charming hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was newly renovated and very comfortable. The lobby itself was absolutely magnificent with light shining through stained glass panels and beautiful marble clad walls giving it a luxurious European feel. What a great location!! There are many different restaurants and stores nearby on Broadway as well as the Museum of Natural History which my wife loved. The best part was the price. It was very affordable especially considering you are in the heart on Manhattan. We will be staying here again.
