Went for restaurant week with a friend and tried their prix fixe menu. At 7:30pm the place was very quiet, but within the hour it burst at the seams. It's not large, and depending on where you sit there may be more traffic than you may care for. That said our service remained top notch. Very punctual, orderly, and efficient. Think German efficiency over Italian warmth. Our white wine was kept on ice, but our glasses never went empty. The menu wasn't glamorous as far as culinary options go, but everything was prepared perfectly. Their take on tiramasu and cheesecake is flawless. The aesthetic is very minimalist, which isn't my thing, but it didn't matter as the food and service is what mattered most in this instance.

Awesome little place. I was surprised by how small it was, but it was quite cozy, well decorated and relaxingly lit.
Great staff, delicious food, and wonderful drinks. Perfect for date night if you're not on a budget.
The music can be slightly loud, so don't expect to hold a night of quiet conversation like the chain steakhouses.

This is due to an event I went to for Ann Hampton Calloway. While this might have been a "buy out" where the producer bought out the venue, the owners should have thought twice before they crammed people into this seats.
We had reservations for two and received a warm greeting at the door and a lackluster escort to our original table by the seating hostess.
Once at the table we realized they had taken a two top and converted it to a four top. The older gentlemen who were to be our seat mates has already spread out on the table, so our seats for dinner were literally in the aisle with no table space. The hostess was about to leave us when we asked where was the table part of our seats?! She basically said that was out spot and if we wanted to change we would need to see the "concierge". What a joke.
Spoke with "concierge" and again...not interested in hearing our story and assigned us another table with no apology. Next table was same situation, but the couple hadn't spread out, so we were able to squeeze in.
We were amazed at how the management was trying to squeeze the 4 guests into the space for 2. The two chairs side by side, touching, were wider than the table. The place was busy, but there was some space in the back.
I would have been happier to pay a premium for the right space than to assume I would be at the table we had. After being to many other cabaret rooms in the city I understand tables are small and close, but never have I had this experience.
Disappointed as this venue is near my office and I have been to lunch there a few times. No more. Service turned me off.
If you go to a concert, make sure you ask about seating arrangements when making your reservation. If they tell you there are tables of four near the stage....be warned.

This is a front be aware, prices are hidden, what seems like a very inexpensive or normal priced meal turned out to be $ 700 for a party of four. There's a lot of charm and friendliness but a lot of deception, make sure you know the price of every dish before ordering. Also read the wine list at the bar before ordering pre-drinks, we paid $76 dollars for a medium wine, thrown in were these gorgeous chips ( complimentary) but hey they should be! We felt the food wasn't fresh also after a discussion with the staff over the cut of meat we were shown the different cuts from the kitchen and they all came out vaccum packede packed! Fabulous sorbet and good coffee, but that was also the last thing we ordered despite of the food and the most inexpensive thing on our bill( since it was free, complimentary of the manager) . Staff tried very hard to please us but unfortunately it didn't work its magic on these visitors...
