My husband is a fine dining chef so we are pretty picky about everything from service to food. This is a great restaurant. Amazing service, cozy, excellent fresh pasta. Best homemade tiramisu I've had in years. Will return and definitely bring friends.

Nice family restaurant, i love to come here with wife and kids to end the week with pizza and a bottle of wine without it costing an arm.

Great to see Il Brigante back in business after Hurricane Sandy. This neighborhood mainstay offers cuisine mostly from Southern Italy. The pasta and red sauce dishes are quite good, as are the variety of fresh oven baked pizzas.
I have found the service here to be best for small groups or parties of four or less. Beyond that it gets quite slow and complex.

A find: good food at normal prices. We enjoyed the al dente gnocchi with fresh mozzarella, and tender chicken with sausage.

Great vibe, delicious food, good selection of wines! I love their Eggplant appetizer, the Spaghetti with clams is how it is cooked in Italy, and the Tiramisu is to die for! The manager is very nice as well as the serving staff! It can get noisy as they get busy so I prefer to go there earlier in the evening.
