Ideal Moving and Storage

I’m proud and happy to say that everything about my move went very smoothly, the office staff and the movers were all professional, From the initial phone call by Sean the salesman to packing of our household items and to the final delivery, there were no surprises or hidden fees. They gave us a great service for the price. All of our furniture were properly placed and accounted for, nothing has been broken (which is rare for me). Ideal Moving really maintains a high standard of operation and by the way the crew leader Allen was fantastic and polite and my wife…aww lord, she was really nagging him from start to end and let me tell you… it’s not easy to make my wife happy and they did so…needless to say we will highly recommend Ideal Moving & Storage to everyone who needs to move and would definitely use them again on our next move.

Ideal Moving was great!! My mom was busy at her new place so it was up to me to pack & move her house. I'm disabled and can't lift or carry more than a few pounds. A friend of mine recommended them because she had used them a year ago and was really happy with everything. I'm glad I took her advice. It was a holiday weekend and they were still easily accessible. I communicated with them via email & phone, which was really convenient. The guys that came were very friendly and polite. They were efficient and overall I am extremely pleased with their service. I will not hesitate to call them again & I will definitely recommend Ideal Moving to everyone I know. Thank you very much! I'd like to say I had a great experience, but the customer service was just horrible. The move went ok, except that I had a several hundred dollar unexplained charge. Finally after months of back and forth, they agreed it should be refunded and sent me a legal document which I had to get notarized. But I never heard anything back. Months and months later, I finally get word that they made a mistake and they were not refunding any of this mysterious charge. Furthermore, they were not going to bother to tell me why. The only one who seemed half willing to get to the bottom of it was Jay. Everyone else, especially Jacque were just downright rude and negligent. I don't have time to resolve this any further, so I hope this review is helpful for anyone looking to navigate the murky waters of moving companies.

First of all I have to say they were nice and very very reasonable. As the days went on my husband emailed and call and never got a response. We called to have our address updated and somehow our quote went from $3900 to over $4500 because we changed the address to 6 miles closer. The computer were down when I called on July 14,2015, which I understand because my husband is an IT. I called later on in the day and Jordan was so rude and had no customer service whatsoever. He told me that there were people moving before me that has the same issues etc etc. I have been is customer service for well over 20 years and one thing I have learn is you treat your customers like they are the only ones. So we canceled our move with them. So they call my husband and ask why he told them there were multiple reason and we would have our refund in 5 business days. Ok. That is good. Then Jordan calls me and tells me to call regarding our move, I called and spoke with Jordan and told him my husband canceled last night and you already called him. He said I don't understand we were fine last night. He demanded that I tell him why we canceled and what moving company we went with. I told him customer service and lack of communication was horrible. Her proceeded to try to make me feel bad and I told him that o wasn't going to tell him who I went with reintegrated what I had told him previously and told him I couldn't wait to get my refund back and give a review. If you have to write your name and phone number on a box steer clear. We have moved coast to coast never ever put that info on there. They should never move your stuff unless it is to weigh. Period. HORRIBLE!! DO NOT USE!! on less you feel like getting lie to and ripped off. The rep I got JOEY suck!!! he will miss lead you all the way one lie after the other. I was advice not to use any other company but his by this fool. He has no idea what he is talking about. If they are so much better than all the other companies how come the have to lie to try to get your business. Joey should be careful about what he tells the customers or at least make sure that it is true before opening his mouth and shoving his foot in it. all in all I ended up not moving with IDEAL because of the experience I had on the phone with Joey avoid at all cost. He will lie, lie ,cheat and steal from the get go. How can you thrust all your belongings to this company if they are not honest from the start. just felt I should warn all people looking for moving service DO NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY PERIOD!
