Ideal Jewelers

Dishonest store. Avoid at all cost. I brought a small gold cross to Ideal Jewelers to be soldered. The cross had a gap at the center where it was broken and bent. When I returned to pick up the cross, there did not seem to be any repair. The young assistant agreed that it was still broken and called the manager. The manager could not have been ruder. He insisted that the cross had been repaired -- even though the cross showed no signs of repair and was in the same condition as when it was brought in originally. I asked if I might leave the cross for the owner to see. He said the owner would confirm that it was repaired. If I wanted the cross back, I had to pay $19.95. I forked over the money and he handed me the cross. What a despicable business.

No words to describe such an experience. Do not go to this place, the owner does not have a .005 % of people skills in his veins or a sense of honesty. He needs to be domesticated.

After I have purchased many items from Ideal Jewelers, I trusted them to fix a broken neck chain. All they needed to do is to replace the "lobster lock" Instead they changed my chain for a much thinner and lighter chain. Similar in style but much inferior. When I complained I was pretty much shut up by Randy, the owner, saying that in 20 years they have never made a mistake and it is impossible that now they have.

All in all, really bad experience. My wife gave me that chain right after we got married. It really got her upset that I got robbed of my chain.
