They are all jerks. All they want is the money. I never had to deal with a sucks company as this one gosh they are arrible. Glad i don't have to deal with them anymore.

AWFUL. The apartment itself was ok for the cheap price, but almost not worth dealing with these jerks. Most of the people have working at their office have very poor customer service skills, and some even try to antagonize and INVITE you to take them to court if you don't like what they say (see story below). I'll be glad when I don't have to deal with this company anymore.

Matt is the worst. When I tried to discuss why a certain amount was withheld from my security deposit after I moved out, instead of talking to my courteously, he quickly said "So take it to court" and claimed that I had left the kitchen "disgusting." I swept the kitchen and while, no, I didn't scrub the floors, the cost of the kind of cleaning is NOT allowed to be taken out of the security deposit. Again, instead of listening to my side, he got an attitude and kept saying that I should take it to court if I don't agree with him.

The only office person I remember being helpful and not condescending was Shirley, who helped me fill out my lease on the day I moved in and picked up my keys. Other than her, very condescending and greedy management.

I was living in this prison (658 Salem Ave) until my lease was up (1year). People are constantly moving from here and everyone has the same complaints. There are mice, cockroaches and water bugs. The supers are constantly reporting everyone's actions to the office and taking pictures of the activities everyone is doing only for you to receive a "warning letter" from the office with pictures taken by the super attached. They are constantly looking for reasons to kick people out of their apartments. About 2 weeks after Hurricane Sandy I& S Investment took many people from 652, 654, 656, and 658 Salem ave locations to court stating that we hadn't paid our rent on time. We all showed up with paper trail form the bank showing that the company in fact cashed our checks and we had certified receipts showing our rent was sent on time. This company also hates making repairs and when a complaint of a leak is given they fix the leak and about one week later you are guaranteed the leak to return at the same location with vengeance. Stay away for your sanity and freedom.

This is the worst leasing company I have ever dealt with in my life. I live in one of their Irvington apartments for a little over a year. I have been without heat off and on for winter month since in moved in. I went without heat for 7days during some of the coldest days in Dec,Jan&Feb and constantly still today having trouble with not recieving heat. .My super constantly coming to do temperture reading, in which show its cold in my apartment especially in my kids room. About a week later, for another 5 days, I was awaking with an ongoing problem, everytime it rain, it as well is raining on my head from a ongoing leak that not being properly tooking care of. In which destroy some of my items.When I tried to complain about these issues, I was told (VERY RUDELY) by Bonnie and other from the management that they "had no interest" in reimbursing me because "things happen" thats what appartment insurance is for.. They also did not believe that I did not have any heat when I spoke with bonnie numerous times about the issue, and still refuses to reimburse me from the difference in my pseg bill.

When the super finally came to fix the problem, he broke my shoe rack in the process. About a week later, for another 5 days, I was without hot water in my bathroom. When I tried to complain about these issues, I was told (VERY RUDELY) by matt(who refused to provide me with his last name) that they "had no interest" in reimbursing me because "things happen". I was told to go through my renters insurance for the broken shoe rack. He also did not believe that I did not have hot water when I spoke with bonnie numerous times about the issue.
