Today was the first time one of my pets ever had surgery, so one can imagine the amount of anxiety i had. However, Dr.D and his staff were very comforting and very professional when it came time for the actual procedure. My dog is 100% okay and i felt confident with leaving my dog Buttercup in their hands. The prices are very reasonable and Dr.D is just as concerned about your pet as you are. They will tell you everything they will do (for whatever you go in for) and at home treatment step by step. Beyond helpful. Special thanks to the Hylan Animal Hospital.

I have taken my dog there three or four times so far and I really like the place. The vet and staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. They are also really good with my dog. Having anxiety and experiencing fear they act appropriately towards him and try to make him feel as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend this place.

I used Dr. Dembitsky when he worked in an animal Hospital in Queens, near me, for a few years on two of my dogs. I always requested him. When I got my third dog I was at a loss as to where to go, because I have been displeased with every other vet I have gone to. Dr. Dembitsky really loves your dog, not just your money. So now I travel from Queens to Staten Island just because I feel my baby deserves the best. He is kind, caring, and his prices are reasonable. But most importantly he is straight forward and honest and gives the best care.

I loved my experience! I have two seven month puppies, one boy and one girl, that I brought in for spay/neuter. From the minute I walked in the staff was friendly and helpful. It was my first time leaving my puppies somewhere other than my home so I was a bit nervous at first. However, the doctor and staff took WONDERFUL care of them.
The surgery was perfect. It has been about a month and a half or so since the surgery and Toby and Bella do not even have a scar. I would 100% recomment this place for anyone who is looking to spay/neuter their pet.
