Hotel Cliff

A hotel with the friendliest staff and decent bedrooms as well as being in a great position! The hotel is near the train stations and the travel time to the city is very short. They had a continental breakfast in the morning which was amazing!

I loved my stay at the cliff! Check in was super easy, everything was close and in walking distance. I stayed for only one night and got the king room and balcony. I loved the balcony addition to the room - definitley different from the hotels that I have stayed in before. Also loved the breakfast.

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. They have no hot water and a complimentary porno channel!!! They provide no paperwork at check in or check out. I booked the room through Travelocity for 2 nights. I provided my itinerary to the front desk and she charged and booked me for the room. Only to find out the following night she only booked me for 1 night. Management called and woke me at 1am to discuss the discrepancy. He was extremely rude and instantly criminalized me by accusing me of trespassing. He threaten to put me out in 7 degree weather with a wind chill of -15 degrees AFTER I told him I would pay for the room but I had an issue with the lack of documentation and paperwork from the hotel. DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

With a very clean, spacious room, large plasma TV, comfortable bed, terrace with a great view of Washington Heights, terrific complementary breakfast and a friendly, personable staff very eager to please, this hotel is unbeatable for anyone needing to stay in or near Washington Heights. My wife and I stayed at the Cliff for four days to be near our son and daughter-in-law who live in the area, and we recommend it unreservedly.
