Holiday Inn Express North Bergen - Lincoln Tunnel

Had the pleasure of staying there . Everything was great . They told us when the shuttle comes and pick up for a Time Square run . No complaints here !

My husband is in the military and had been planning our family trip to NYC for New Years. He read some of the reviews about the staff being rude, and other things. It turned out it was nothing like what he had read. The hotel was cleaned, the staff was nice including the manager women whom I can not remember her name. The room was clean, and did not smell. We didn't get to enjoy the pool because we went for new years. They do have a shuttle to and from NYC for an extra fee that was like $8, if you don't want to drive. They were also close to Carlo bakery from cake boss the original one. I suggest ordering online though for pick up. This place was nice, and clean. My 3 year old enjoyed it as well. I reccomment this place

I don't know why there are any bad reviews about this particular hotel. I've been staying here every week since it used to be the palace hotel. Now the hotel is so nice. Rooms are updated, very clean, and comfortable. Sam and Hina at the front desk have been there forever and are a pleasure to talk to when I come in. They are always accommodating and polite. The prices here are very reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area.

This was a surprisingly comfortable hotel. Spent two nights ,rested well and was ready for walk around NYC each morning.

We stayed at this hotel August 7-9th. The staff kept us waiting to check in instead of directing their attention to us. That was the first indicator the hotel staff was subpar. Despite arriving at check -in time, one of the two hotel rooms we had reserved was not ready. Upon our return to the hotel room the 2nd evening the hotel room smelled AWFUL....like someone was smoking in our room! We had the hotel night manager come up to our room and smell the nicotine. He agreed there was a smell, but there was nothing that could be done since the hotel was sold out!!! We are stuck in a disgustingly smelly room and night manager says he was NOT authorized to do anything except spray the room. Spray the room AND add MORE chemicals to the nasty nicotine smell we were already having to deal with!!! I don't think so!!!! Instead of offering an apology - ALL we got were excuses... the restaurant next door was causing the smell (NOTE: only our room smelled of cigarette smoke, not our neighbors... and it was CIGARETTE SMOKE, NOT FOOD SMOKE!!! The night manager indicated that there staff would not smoke in the room basically implying that we did!

The management was disrespectful and unwilling to take ownership of the problem and simply apologize!!!! I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel............EVER!!!
