- Terrible #18425
When booking I was quoted for $109 a night. When it came time to charge the card it's suddenly $139 for one, and $159 for second. Same room type, same night. The lady at the desk told me "they just send us the prices. It's charged, here's a number you can call." And "the original booking price is an average." How is 109 an average of 139 and 159? And I disliked how the gal at the desk basically told me it's not her problem and there's nothing we could do about it. Feels like bait and switch.
Now I check my bank account and its charged me $213 three different times. Do not trust this company!

The hotel was a basic level. Service was not too good. Breakfast was pretty poor, lacking elemental items, which any other hotels would've had. I forgot a jewelry item in the room, so I call the same day we checked out, about 6 hours after, and I left information with a representative. The person said they would call back, but they never did. Later the same day I called twice, and still they never called back. 1 star for this hotel is a "gift".

- Poor #18428
If you are anything but the heaviest sleeper, this is not the place for you. The walls are paper thin. So thin, that you can hear the conversations in the room at the opposite end of the floor. Outside noise is ridiculous. Some jackass was banging on buckets in Time Square, three blocks away, all night. It sounded like he was right outside our window.

The staff were wonderful and the only highlight of this hotel. That's the only reason that I gave it two stars instead of one.

- Very Good #18427
Although there are rooms for improvement I would recommend this hotel.

+ It's really close to Times Square but not so close that it would be disturbing. It's also close to subway stations, and bus station. There are lot's of shops nearby, but I don't think I should explain anything about that :D
+ The bed was comfortable, and the room was well organized
+ The room had a coffee machine - yess! :)
+ It felt tidy and clean
+ They had free room at Halloween night, so I was delighted :)
+ The staff was kind and helpful. If their manager reads this review, give them a raise, they deserve it! :)
- I missed the room service, it would have been better if I could eat something in my room instead waiting in the crowd for something quick. It would be worth to consider it, I would have been willing to pay a bit more for that :)
- This might be something american, but I really missed the vegetables from the breakfast, and I felt that it was overwhelmed by sugar. I would recommend something healthier, and more diverse.
-The view wasn't that great, there was a construction just before my window, thank god it was weekend :)
- I might have been a noob, but I couldn't figure out how to plug the bathtub, sry :)
