Mercedes is amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone that loves their animals!

I took my cat and paid 50 dollar just to have him come home the same ... long nails full of fur.. so disappointed!

Mercedes is awesome will continue to bring my hogan there she has been grooming hogan since he was 3 months he's now 4 years old she is the best....

Like many of the other reviewers, Mercedes took care of my dog's appointment, and like many of the other reviewers, I was extremely disappointed in her professionalism.

I was able to get a last minute nail trim appointment, which I was grateful for. Since the appointment only lasts 2-3 minutes, I waited up front for my dog to be ready. I explained to Mercedes that my dog has a severe anxiety of nail trimming and also that her ACL was in a fragile state due to previous surgery.

I could hear her yelling at my dog from the front of the store the entire time (as a pup mom it was gut wrenching), which is not the appropriate tactic. If your dog is terrified, yelling "NO" loudly and repeatedly is not the correct way to deal with that fear. In the past, good groomers have praised my dog as they clip in order to calm her down, and they have seen good results.

Mercedes essentially threw my dog at me and said "WOW that was tough" - mind you, my dog is not aggressive, just squirmy and extremely anxious. She said her coworker had to hold my dog in the air in order to prevent injury to her leg, which I appreciated.

She then told me the total was $15, which is $5 more than the website lists for pricing. She said it nonchalantly, but I raised question to the quote. She said "that was extremely difficult" - it took her no more than 3 minutes. I do not understand how someone can decide that it's appropriate to charge a 50% increase in price for 3 minutes of their time. I would have appreciated the chance to decide that she was worth tipping, which as a previous service industry employee- I would have.

Needless to say, my dog and I will NOT be returning due to what I would consider poor treatment of my dog and sketchy price increases (which she would have played off as the normal price if I hadn't asked) without consulting me first.
