This is THE BEST breakfast in NYC, not only because it is one of the few top restaurants that actually serves breakfast in addition to brunch. The food is fantastic! And they have amazing breads for purchase for take away. Thank you Eli Kill !!

Awesome burgers and bagels.. Really perfect glorified sausage egg mcmuffin (THE BODEGA: malted breakfast sausage, egg, aged cheddar, sage-black pepper biscuit) and raisin cinnamon bagel. Too bad about the broken AC on a hot day though.. Made it hard to breathe.

HS on Hudson mixes fresh preparations of vibrant vegetables and fruits to offer a really diverse menu of unique dishes - one of the most inventive dining experiences in NYC, especially at this price point. I suggest leaving the decision making to the kitchen staff for dinner, if you have the time (and they will make substitutions if you like). Favorite items on the menu include: The Breads & Spreads (not to be overlooked), The Smoked Gnocchi, and the Happy Valley Beef.

The egg, sausage biscuit is amazing. I was tempted to lick the plate clean. The servers were kind, always kept our water full, and were super helpful when recommending dishes and sides.
I highly recommend giving this place a go if you're in the area.

The breakfast sandwiches were the best. They're different from your typical sandwich, they reminded me more of a hamburger. The flavors are very distinctive, everything is prepared with lots of core. I can't compare this to any other sandwich I've had before. The portions aren't too big nor too small, but for sure, they're super tasty. The atmosphere is very nice, the place is clean and the service is friendly. The pastries look great, but I didn't get to try them, yet. Gets pretty full on Saturday even before they start serving brunch.
