Several times I had to wait over an hour to see a doctor or physician assistant. The staff asked for a check as soon as I walked in the door. I assumed it was because some patients got fed up waiting and walked out. The staff were unprofessional and rude. They acted as if they are doing you a favor by taking your money and accepting your insurance. They became defensive when I advocated for myself. When my insurance did not cover something they acted aggressively trying to collect a little money. They got my name wrong repeatedly even though it is right in front of them and is a very simple name. The staff did not know how to process claims properly then took it out on me when the bill was not covered. When I you politely tried to explain the situation to the woman in billing she cried to the doctors. I blame the doctors for their poor quality staff. It is up to them to hire, train and supervise them.
