My family And I enjoyed the fresh seaweed salad, with Miso Soup. Spicy tune roll has above average standard, very nice dish. Would come back again!

Amazing atmosphere, and service. The food speaks for itself, (sushi is always very fresh). A few of the most popular items would be the Bluefin toro sashimi, the live Santa Barbara Uni, and delicious kobe beef sliders. All the ingredients used in the kitchen foods are very good quality and always fresh.

The staff and hostess are very friendly and really makes the restaurant a great place to spend an evening with friends or family.

There is a great bar selection offering various different spirits, and sake (hot or cold).
Matsuya is definitely 5 stars in my book.

A simple small restaurant with an ambiance that reminded me of Tokyo. Hot food is excellent. I particularly like the obanzai. However the sushi is probably just average. A nice location for meet ups.
