Meh, food was ok

Magnolia is a place in NYC worth visiting. They sell great desserts and pastry. In this case the hype is justified.

I enjoy this location (Grand Central) because you can sit down in the food court and not be bothered or feel rushed. But, the other locations are consistently good as well.

The devils food chocolate cupcake is my favorite. They sell quickly and magnolia is always baking more which makes them usually fresh when you get them. The cake is moist and the buttercream frosting is light, airy and not too sugary sweet.

The banana pudding is good. It seems to be mixed with a light whipped cream to get a fluffy texture with banana and vanilla wafers all through the pudding.

If your visiting NYC or you live here, you must try a magnolia :)

The food is pretty good but the atmosphere in this place leaves a lot to be desired.
