The owner has an affinity for single malt Scotch and small batch bourbon. He also has liquor (not wine!) tastings every saturday night (and many Fridays too). An absolute gem. His wife and daughter (and new son!) are lovely, too.

Our neighborhood recently lost its sole wine and liquor store due to certain questionable activities on the owners' part. Thankfully, this gem recently opened the doors on a space that is much larger, beautiful, and more resplendent with fine wines and liquors. The owner is friendly, helpful, and a better sommelier than most overpriced boutique restaurants. With reasonable prices and less than a block to walk, I'm thankful to be writing this from the comfort of my couch, having savored a home-cooked meal and a complementary bottle of wine.
