Heart Center of the Oranges

Horrible experience. Before scheduling an appointment, I SPECIFICALLY asked if my insurance was accepted. (I am an out of state student, and did not want to waste any time). The woman who answered the phone was rude and handed the call to another associate. I asked again if my insurance was accepted and the man assured me that it was. It was a 10am appointment and I am NOT a morning person. I was told from a regular that the wait would be long, but it was expected since I was a new patient. I arrived at 10:05am and was given paperwork to fill out. The staff are predominantly Haitian, as were the patients who were in the room with me. I waited patiently, even as a woman came in at 10:30 stating, in Kreyol that she had to go to work by 11am. She was seen before me. That is when one of the staff decided to verify my information, insurance, etc. After a total of an an hour and 15 minute wait, I was told that I was out of network. It was a pure waste of time, and energy. Had they been diligent in the beginning when I first posed the question about insurance, we could have both saved ourselves the hassle. I am overly annoyed at this office and its staff!

First of the staff are extremely rude the office lobby needs to be updated lobby space is about 6ft wide barely fits 5 people comfortably. Device that reads your blood pressure was outdated. The patients rooms have a terrible stench and you do your blood work in a cluttered storage closet with an old school desk inside ...LITERALLY ....NO REALLY I'M NOT KIDDING...... This office lacks professionalism and structure extremely disgusted with experience this establishment needs major improvement i will never visit or recommend this place.
