Health Care 2000 Obstetrics: Rezvani Fred MD

I am a doctor myself and chose my health providers very carefully. I did a lot of research before going to Dr. Rezvani. Yes, I happened to wait for him in the waiting room for hour and more, but I have to tell you: I am SO happy I went to him and stayed with him, regardless any inconvenience or administrative problems in the office. I had out of ordinary pregnancy and he basically saved my son, who is 2 year old now. This doctor was a gift from heaven for me and I will always remain grateful to him for having my son healthy and happy!

If you care about money and money only, the other reviewer yelling about insurance coverage and cost is for you. If you care about medical knowledge and ability then allow me to say this: Without Dr Rezvani I am 100% certain my daughter would not be here right now. He came into our lives half way through a very complicated pregnancy. He identified numerous issues the previous doctor missed and through his taking ownership of the situation my daughter was able to be born. She was 11 weeks early and 2.1 pounds. Today she is over seven pounds and you would never know she spent 65 days in the NICU. Dr Rezvani made the call to take her at 29 weeks. If we had waited even one more day I'm not certain she would have survived.

Being based out of Valley Hospital in Ridgewood should be a major factor in choosing him as well. Best hospital in the area and if you need to put your child into the NICU their staff of doctors and nurses are the most amazing group of people you'd ever want to meet.

If you live in Northern NJ and are at an elevated risk of complications due to health or age issues not choosing to use DR Rezvani would be a very foolish choice in my opinion.

Not to mention my wife absolutely LOVES him. He has treated her amazingly.

I see lots of people calling him arrogant and rude and that's not the Dr. Rezvani I've met. I have heard if he's not your doctor he can be less than charming. However, give me the smartest assh**e over the nicest idiot any day! You’re talking about the health of your unborn child.

Dr. Fred Rezvani has the worst medical office I’ve ever been to. First issue was they assured me when I was making my appointment that they did indeed take Horizon Blue Cross Blue shield PPO. When I went to my first appointment they told me that they do not accept NJ Direct members. I was told personally by Dr. Rezvani that I will not be responsible for the remaining balance and only paid by regular copay. Since I deiced to go to another doctor that is in my network is office sent me a bill charging me the rest of the 20% that doctor Rezvani said he would waive. I also had to pay $25.00 for my medical records (only 13 pages). Thank god I did not continue to see this doctor. It’s very clear that he is only interested in making money. He made me get tests that were unnecessary and ridiculously expensive. I would never recommend Rezvani to anyone. Stay away from this doctor.
