Hank's Juicy Beef

Great beef and great beer! Definitely worth a visit. Oh and draft craft at $5 cannot be beat.

I'm not a huge red meat eater (in fact I would call myself a part time vegetarian!) but I checked out Hank's recently after work with some friends and if I'm gonna eat beef this is where I am gonna do it from now on, these sandwiches were DELISH. I had the sweet/cheesy combo and then I polished off my friend's sandwich (which was a combo with sausage). The bread is nice and soft, the meat is, as the name says, juicy and the giardiniera is the best you can find in NYC according to my Chicago-born pal. Hank is also the perfect host; he was in residence while I was there, chatting with customers and making sure everyone was enjoying their meal. You also can't beat a wine or beer for $5. Will definitely be back when I get the hankering for a meaty meal again!

Good Chicago style beef sandwiches ( if your familiar).

A tad pricey at 11.75$ for a sandwich but very tasty . I just wanted to try it and it was good.

I love HJB! The beef sandwich is soooo good. Go spicy, it's flavor perfection. The Italian ice is also delicious.

Hank's giardiniera is the best I've ever had. The bread is also awesome! I've had several soggy italian beef sandwiches fall apart on me before, but this was not one of them. 5/5 would recommend
