Nice ambiance and the food was good. Love the fact that it is so close in Montclair.

We had a Bridal Shower here and it was spectacular! Sharon Egan and her staff were unbelievably attentive. Everyone loved the food as well as the atmosphere. I looked many places in Montclair, before choosing Halcyon/Egans and their prices were very comparable. The space was far superior to any other place we could have chosen.

This has to be the prettiest and most sophisticated restaurant in Montclair. The lighting, the imported marble bar from Ireland, the seating, the atmosphere, the service and the food are all excellent. Its a place to get dressed for, its romantic, good energy........ but can get loud as it fills up. So go before 7:00 if you are looking for quiet. You can eat at the bar comfortably. You will feel right at home. The seafood is very good and so is the skirt steak. Try the red snapper or the skate. There are specials also. Upstairs is a really pretty lounge so if you have to wait its a great place to sit and have drinks at little cocktail tables. Its all done in turquoise and browns with Venetian mirrors and sheer drapes. Very classy............
