Went to Hair Pro Charming for the first time last year to get the Japanese Hair Straightening and Sara did a FANTASTIC job! Looking forward to going back this year and getting the same results!

worst place to get your hair done.beware guys. i showed the guy (sean) who did my hair the style
that i want but it ended up way way different from what i want. he bleached my hair twice ended up staying there for 6 hours. the first one was orange and the second was blonde ( strong blonde) i hated it. he just ruined my hair completely. it was dry and damaged. i even ended up paying $110 for the hair color that i dont even want .

The last time I went there my hair broke off in different spots down to the root. I went there for Japanese hair straightening and this Asian man that dresses in black and always does hair in the first booth messed up my hair. They charge 20 percent of the price of you getting your hair getting done for a tip but they don't tell you until you go to the counter after they finish your hair to tell you that. They have a sign tapped on the desk. So if you walk in this place look at the counter and see it before you think about getting a treatment. There going to give you a price when you first go in and when your hairs finish they will argue with you for a 20 percent tip (BEWARE). They used to be good when a lady named Hyde used to be there my hair never broke off with her. One day I called for Hyde and they told me she was there and I came all the way from the bronx to Queens and she wasn't and I thought I was already there and did it with a different lady my hair broke off too. They must have mistreated Hyde because they say she's no longer there but she know what she was doing. Good luck if you got to them my hair broke off twice there. Good luck.

The worse place EVER!! I will never go back… I am a black girl; however, my hair is easily straightened. Prior to entering, I asked if they are able to do my hair (of course they said yes). I went there for the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. After washing my hair, the hairdresser says, “the Brazilian Treatment may not make my hair very straight”. While sitting under the drier, instead of removing my head from under the drier, she uses a brush and began brushing my wet hair; it tugged at my hair very hard. I asked her… What are you doing? She said, “your hair can’t be wet, I’m trying to see if it’s dry”. I said, “I’ll do it” and used my hands to separate my hair. After my hair was dried, I sat for two hours, and no one communicated with me. I watched as people who arrived after me, and leave before me. At 8p, I asked the hairdresser who was helping me, if anyone is going to attend to me. She said, “yes” and pointed to an Asian lady; then she got ready and left the salon. I was the last person to get my hair done. Prior the Asian hairdresser doing my hair, she also said that my hair may not end up straight from the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. She finished my hair by 9p. My hair is short and uneven (the shortest part is above my shoulders, and the longest part lay on my shoulders) and I heard an Asian lady with hair by her butt, say to her friend that her hair cost $150 to get done.
I went to pay my bill, and the Asian hairdresser wanted to charge me $170. I fought to get the price down to $150, then she threaten for me to pay her a tip (I almost gave her a tip; but her attitude was unpleasant, and the service was very upsetting)… I walked out.

Just got the Japanese straight today! They did a great job! There was no pressure tip wise they just want to make sure that you tip 15%. I've been doing this treatment on my hair for the past 10 yrs and this salon is one of the best.
