Really disappointed with our experience here. Do appreciate that the restaurant was very busy, but all the same, I expected more! It took an age for our server to get round to us, even serving another couple seated about 5-10 minutes after us first. We ordered starters and mains. Neither of the starters came at all; then our mains were delivered, alongside one of the starters, which of course I didn't really need by then- the other one never turned up. The thing that wound us up however was that the menu mentioned some dishes specifically being served with rice- we assumed ones which didn't say they were served with rice, wouldn't be, and ordered additional rice- our server didn't tell us at any point that our dishes actually would be served with rice, so we ended up with 3 sets of rice which we really didn't need- given the price of even a side dish due to its location, we weren't that pleased. The cocktails are OK, they certainly get you drunk! But if that's really the best mojito in town then we've all got problems. Wouldn't recommend going here on a Friday / Saturday night- maybe its better when its less busy.

Came here through a groupon offer and they have great food and drinks! When I went they had a live band that was playing, which was great. I can not remember the exact name of the entree I had, however it had chicken with a coconut sauce; it was amazing!
Cons: lighting a little too dim; narrow space.

They have good food and a great vibe. I recommend the ropa vieja or any of their chicken dishes.

The ropa veija is amazing! A little pricey but still tastes amazing. As soon as you walk through the door you can smell the amazing food. The atmosphere is nice at night with the live bands that play.

Gary Z wrote:You would expect a cuban restaurant to give you cuban bread... well we got no bread at all and when I asked my waiter if they had bread or something to munch on his answer was yes we do. There was a 20 second pause until he asked me if I wanted him to bring me some.
THE FOOD: was mediocre to bad, the price was average for a Hell's Kitchen restaurant about $25 per plate.
THE DRINKS: I ordered a Mojito It definitely had more than 2 bar spoons of sugar, it was too sweet, the edge of the limes were brown which means it's been sitting at the bar over a day and there were 4 pieces of lime inside the cocktail which mojitos don't have unless you are in an American bar where every fusion is a go.
THE SERVICE: My mother ordered a seafood dish they never brought an extra dish for the shells.
OVERALL I will never dine there again. Having so many good reviews it makes wonder why?
