I only hate it for one reason - The prices are obscenely high and now that Key food is closing it will be hard to buy coldcuts at decent prices and that sucks a lot. I am looking into alternates but every time I go to Gristedes the prices are so high I feel like someone mugged me!

It is the bane of my existence that the closest grocery stores to both my apartment and workplace are both Gristedes. There is really little to no good things to say about this chain, as or more expensive than whole foods while while selection is limited, disorganized, and usually plain gross.
