Called, concerned about my health, trying to schedule a same day appointment. The woman who answered the phone said that the doctor wasn't in yet, and she had to double check that he would be willing to see me. An hour later, I called back to ask if they'd been able to look at the schedule yet. She said that she couldn't schedule the appointment until she spoke with the doctor about it. I explained that I really wanted to be seen that day, and it would be disappointing to wait for a call back only to find out there were no openings, when I could have been pursuing an appointment elsewhere. She assured me that he would likely see me that day, and promised to call back when the doctor was in. I counted on that and didn't pursue another appointment. I never heard back from her. What a terrible thing to do to (a) a potential income opportunity, and (b) a real live person who's worried about their health. Shame on them.
