HORRIBLE experience here. After telling me I was approved for the loan that I applied for I went to their facility to finalize the paperwork. It was at this point that I was told that I wasn't approved for the full amount of my loan and I would have to put up $3,000.00 out of pocket. I had already been told that my loan was approved and then get that bomb dropped on me the day of the closing? Go to 1st Bergen a few blocks away. Better service and more helpful employees.

I used to go to the Drive thru to deposit to my account via Share branching. The bank has stopped that service and it has been such a headache for me to come in between 9 to 5 and deposit. there are the hours I am at work.

Greater Alliance is a great Credit Union. They strive to provide exceptional services to people who are denied so at other institutions. If you are in need of, let’s say an extension, they will work with you, to try and come to some sort of agreement; unlike banks who are more interested in taking your money. Like anything else, when someone is unhappy about something, they talk about it on the internet. When people are satisfied, they tend to forget to mention it. It's sad to see only 2 positive reviews; they deserve more positive ones.

I've been there a few times since moving to nj making a shared branch deposit to my old bank....there's always a line maybe 2 tellers working during peak hours and when you finally get to one that actually act like there doing you a favor by waiting on you.... I also bank with chase bank and I must day they are 10x's better. ...!!!!!
